Job Title: CNC Machinist
CNC Miller – 5 Axis
12 months contract
Monday – Friday Standard days 7.30-3.30 Monday to Thursday and 11.30 finish on Friday (10%) or late shift (20% premium)
Late Shift 2pm – 11:45pm Mon – Thursday 9 ¼ hours per day. 20 % shift premium
£18-23.15 per hour PAYE for the CNC Machinist

Opportunity for a skilled CNC Machinist to undertake a long term contract working for a highly reputable manufacturing company with a strong order book producing precision parts, working on exciting large scale, high precision projects.
Working within a friendly, stable and highly successful manufacturing team as CNC Machinist (both CNC and manual capability) you will be responsible for the following:
- Performing machining to the required specifications using 5 axis fanuc controlled CNC’s
- Setting up machines for allocated work and ensuring the timely completion of machining work to meet project deadlines.
- Undertaking self-inspection as well as using a variety of precision measuring devices.
- Updating damaged or worn tooling
Ideally the CNC Machinist will have experience in the below
- Machine shop environment experience working with high speed 5 axis milling machines (Mori-Seiki, DMG, NH Fastem or similar)
- Competent in using precision measurement equipment
- Ability to make edits to programs (Fanuc)
- CNC Pallet loading experience
- Experience working in a high precision environment
You will ideally be apprentice trained or have relevant 5 axis CNC Milling experience and you will be working across a range of products and therefore it will be a varied role and you will be in a team environment where you are rewarded for your work.
